A little more than a week after approving a new
controversial teacher compensation plan, the Fond du Lac school board has
approved a wage increase for teachers. The Fond du Lac school board approved the one percent salary increase for this school year. Superintendent Dr. Jim Sebert says the compensation plan is
not
something that’s unique to Fond du Lac. Some educators say the plan is unfair to veteran
teachers…but
Sebert says he believes the plan is fair and sustainable for
the future.
