4-15-14 fdl youth baseball diamond fundraiser

Fond du Lac Youth Baseball is partnering with the city and school district in launching a public fundraising campaign to build a youth baseball complex at Lakeside Park.  Last year the city council gave the okay to allow for the diamonds to be built at the park just north of Harborview Drive.  Youth Baseball’s Ryan Haus says the next step is raising the money to construct the fields.  Haus says the goal is to raise $400,000 and to start building the complex as the funds are available.  Haus says donations can be in-kind work, materials or monetary.  For $50,000 you can have naming rights to a diamond and for $100,000 you can have naming rights for the entire baseball complex.  If you have questions or would like to make a donation you may contact Haus at dochaus@charter.net  or call (920) 517-3107.
