On
February 7, 2014 at
approximately 1:34 p.m. ,
the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office - 911 Center received a call reporting a
crash involving a car vs. milk truck on Hwy 60 and Lehman Rd. in the township of Rubicon . Preliminary
investigation shows that a Chrysler New Yorker was south bound on Lehman Rd. stopped
at the stop sign at Hwy 60 and failed to yield right away to an east bound milk
truck. The milk truck stuck the
passenger side of the Chrysler. The
female passenger of the Chrysler was pronounced deceased at the scene by the
Dodge County Medical Examiners Office.
The driver of the Chrysler was injured with what appeared to be non-life
threatening injuries. The driver and
passenger of the milk truck were uninjured. Others
assisting the Sheriff’s Office were:
Wisconsin State Patrol, Neosho Fire Department and First Responders,
Hartford Fire Department and EMS , Lifestar
Ambulance, DCERT, and Dodge County Medical Examiner. Names
of individuals involved will be released on Monday, February 10, 2014 after 8:00 a.m. The
Dodge County Crash Investigation Team is investigating the crash and further
details will be disseminated when they are made known.
