2-7-14 democrats to propose alternative to governor's tax cut plan

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin Assembly Democrats plan to unveil an alternative to Governor Scott Walker's tax cut plan that will increase spending on worker training and put more money into the state's rainy day fund. Democrats plan to introduce their alternative during debate of the $504 million tax cut bill on Tuesday. An Assembly committee today passed the measure on a party line vote, with all Democrats against.
