2-5-14 dodge county propane emergency

The Dodge County Emergency Management director says a state of emergency was declared this week out of concern for people’s safety during this winter’s propane shortage.  Amy Nehls tells AM 1170 WFDL's Between the Lines program officials are concerned that some residents may forego assistance to pay skyrocketing propane costs and try to weather out the cold temperatures.  Nehls is urging affected residents to contact the Energy Assistance office in Beaver Dam to see if you are eligible for funding assistance. Nehls also says she anticipates residents may look at alternative heating sources for next year.
