11-12-13 new fdl police swat vehicle
The Fond du Lac police department is getting a new tactical
vehicle. The Joe and Dawn Colwin Family Foundation has funded the purchase of the vehicle at a cost of $217,446. The SWAT Team vehicle was delivered on Friday.
Police say the Lenco Bearcat provides armored ballistic protection and is large enough to carry the entire
12 member SWAT team.
