11-11-13 fatal accident dodge county

A female driver has died in a minivan versus semi accident in Dodge County.  The crash happened just before noon on Saturday at the intersection of Highway 26 and County Trunk Q in the Town of Emmett.  The Dodge County Sheriff’s Department says that a minivan traveling on Highway Q failed to stop at the stop sign at Highway 26 and was struck by the semi.  The minivan then went into the ditch and started on fire.  The female driver of the minivan was pronounced dead at the scene.  The semi driver was not injured in the crash.  The accident remains under investigation.
