8-9-13 storms-national guard

APPLETON, Wis. (AP) — Outagamie County officials are asking for some help from the Wisconsin National Guard to clean up storm damage.  County executive Tom Nelson met Gov. Scott Walker at the Outagamie County Airport Thursday and joined him in touring the damage in New London. Nelson asked the governor and Maj. General Donald Dunbar for personnel and equipment to help the hardest hit communities remove storm debris.  High winds and at least two tornadoes have caused damage in Brown, Clark, Chippewa, Jackson, Outagamie, Marinette, Monroe, Waupaca, Winnebago, and Wood counties this week.
