Hartford police arrested a man early Thursday
morning suspected of burglarizing a residence in the 500 block of Loos Street . According to the Hartford Police Department,
the homeowner noticed that while he was taking his dog out, the door to his
garage was open. The resident watched as
the door slowly closed from the inside of the dark garage. The homeowner contacted authorities, who
responded and found a 34 year old Hartford
man, armed with six knives, hiding behind the door. Officers took the man, a convicted felon,
into custody at gunpoint. Charges of
armed burglary, possession of burglary tools, carrying concealed weapons, and
drug violations have been forwarded to the Washington County District Attorney’s
Office.
