6-11-13 van stolen with child inside the vehicle

Fond du lac police are looking for a suspect who allegedly stole a vehicle with a young child inside.  Police Captain Pat McKeough says a woman reported she was shopping at Shopko Monday evening and when she returned to her van both the vehicle and her nine year old son were missing.  McKeough says an unknown man used the keys that were left in the ignition to steal the van, dropped the child off in the area of Military Road and Seymour Street and left the area traveling south on Seymour.  The child was not threatened by the suspect or physically harmed.  The stolen vehicle is a silver 2002 Chrysler Town and Country van with a license plate of IAMOOC.  The suspect is described as an Hispanic male in his early 20s with short hair and tattoos on both arms.  He was wearing a plain black t-shirt, long black shorts and brown work-type boots.  Anyone with information is asked to call Fond du Lac police.
